 | Thanks for posting the pictures... |
 | The thing is, paano nakapasok yung mga explosives sa loob?
Maybe because of the fact that the explosives were PLASTIC and ODORLESS. Plastic, most likely lusot sa metal detector. Odorless, most likely lusot sa sniffing dogs. |
 | or some links wher i cud get some clips. please... |
 | good job getting some photos. this is too tragic though... |

 | Looks like all here are Filipinos. Can I add an Englishman's voice? very, very sad day. I'm far away right now [just like an OFW] but my home is Cebu and my heart has been in the Philippines for a very long time - many years in fact. Now I have tears in my eyes because of this tragedy [talaga]. I wish for everything, for everyone who was touched by this, to become as well as possible as soon as possible. Mabuhay . . . | we're all fortunate that we're still alive. it could have been any one of us. there's no telling. my eyes are hurting from crying. i just came from makati med to be with my officemate-friend, she survived the bombing, she crawled out of the debris. she couldn't find her husband who was nearby when the bomb exploded. she found her husband in makati med, already dead. very painful & sad.. they're young couples with 3 kids. parehong first love, sweethearts since high school. i didn't know how to console her.. she had a lot of questions that only our Creator can answer. all we could do was cry with her and pray for her and her kids...and for the families of the victims....what a sad day indeed..... |
 | glorieta has been part of my everyday life, I walk around glorieta everyday before going home from work. Thank God it's my rest day today, I work in a call center and my shift ends at 12 noon, at around that time, I usually walk around that place inside glorieta. I often buy my hotdog sandwich sa hotdogs on stick, second floor ng g2 near pizzahut. kung hindi ko restday, malamang andon ako at around 1:30 in the afternoon walking at eh exact place where the bombing happened.
Thank god... wala akong pasok malamang. nadamay ako dun... |
 | you save the day dude! this is something that we have to blame on gloria! gma resign!! call it destab, or call it seditious, we don't care , why gloria is telling that people power is dead, when people has the power to seat and unseat a president |

 | Thanks for sharing your photos. It's sad that our country has to deal with this sort of thing. I remember going to Glorietta a couple of years ago when I went home to the Philippines. | kimatpower wrote on Oct 19, '07, edited on Oct 19, '07 MAKATI BOMBING MAYHEM PHOTO: A picture is worth a thousand words. Excellent pictures! Here they go again. GMA signature has something to do with ‘impeach me’, ‘investigate me’ and now ‘bomb me’. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what’s happening in our country today. Maybe by coincidence Glorietta mall was the bombing target. Glorietta is a derivative of Gloria. The sinister plan is to portray her as the victim. She exploited the bombing incident by all means to gain public sympathy. In the headlines-Gloria Arroyo visits Makati bombing victims. Crocodile tears are flowing in front of digital world audience. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) cannot stand the political heat and so she needs a quick diversion. The Arroyo government is in the defensive mode on alleged bribery scandal and China's ZTE-NBN $329-M broadband scam.
Everything is possible under corrupt the Arroyo regime. Innocent lives have been sacrificed for political gain. Gloria Arroyo and her cohorts are the usual suspects. Plastic bomb or C-4 explosive types are military arsenal. It should be tightly controlled by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Is this Operation Greenbase part II or a replicate of Davao City airport bombing? Let's condemn state sponsored-terrorism. Justice for the victims!

 | kalungkot nga. uwi p naman jan ako sa december. tapos malapit lapit p jan place namin. hhhhmmmm |
 | i saw your pictures through inquirer.net. this is horrible! I could imagine how loud the explosion could be when I recall I was there during the Valentine's Day bombing and that shook 6750 where I worked. I feel sorry for the victims of the blast, wrong place at the wrong time. Thanks for sharing your pictures and long live, ice cream! :) |
 | Good photojourn shots, I'm impressed with your alertness (who would've thought of taking pictures given the terrifying situation?) |

Got to your site through Inquirer and a friend's multiply site by the way. |
 | I hope justice comes early for the victims of this tragedy. Get the perpetrators and teach them a lesson they'll never forget... |
 | i can't believe you could actually still take pics. i was there and ran far far away. i only thought about it kanina, but damn, i ran fast, even with heels on. what an experience. great job. |

 | glad ur safe Disney Boy
sad for those who died and were wounded |
 | Just think ok, everytime theres a fault of the government something happened, like the bombing in glorietta wayback december something. di ba may issue sa Mike Arroyo na yun, o anong nangyari natabunan ng bombing issue. so everytime na government ang napapansin gumgawa sila ng pantabon sa mga kalokohan nila. |
 | that's unisilver on upper left (near entrance from Park Square 2), tapos T Shirt Project directly below it. |
 | baka lang... baka lang, ha, na si gloria gumawa nito. parang diversionary tactic sa growing 'envelope' scandal na nangyari mismo sa malacanang. shades of pre-martial law din di ba? wag naman sana.

 | grmd wrote on Oct 19, '07, edited on Oct 19, '07 no effin LPG could do that kind of damage. What i think is, it was caused by a bomb and it was set-up near LPG tanks OR the LPGs were used to intensify the blast. Either way, I'd give credit to the bomber. He's a smart ass. Maybe the police are just trying to protect Ayala from too much controversy regarding security that's why they're saying that it was caused by an LPG tank. Well I don't want to jump into any conclusion so let's just all hope that the police get to the bottom of this right away and do something about it. Im so sorry for those who lost loved ones and for those who were hurt. Very disturbing. To think that glorietta is like a second home to me. Well i hope the government doesn't have anything to do with this. Bro thanks for the post. |

other people's top speculation: could be a diversion from the bigger issues faced by the Administration lead by Pres. Glorietta Macapagal Arroyo.... |
 | dre ang galing... at least we have other shots from ordinary people and not rely on the edited version of some tv stations... keep it bro! |
 | pano ba yan? sikat ka na tsong! buti na lng safe ka... at higit sa lahat may digicam kang dala! kita ko sa inquirer.net mga pics mo. galing! |
 | here's a comment lng to all blaming the gov't.. they say when police/military force are around and very visible, "magkaka martial law", pagbinawasan naman.."pulpol si gloria" mga terroristang abu sayaf at NPA di nyo tingnan...im sick of it.. la lang... hahahaha! ayos ka disney! susunod gusto ko ng ice cream.. i won't hesitate!!!! - kahit may diabetes ako.. hahaha |
 | They should find out exactly where the central LPG tank of Glorietta is located. I still think its this central tank that exploded. Its strange they still can't find any residue of the explosive at all after a whole night! This despite all those dogs and experts. They shouldn't let Ayala people be making all these announcements and taking the lead in informing the public. They could be culpable if it was the central LPG tank that exploded and a lot to explain! We need the unbiased and objective reporting of the PNP. No terrorists have come out to own the bombing either after a forthnight! The right agency should start looking if there is anything being whitewashed or hidden. |
 | thank god you're safe... that's scary... haha, may mga cameras around the malls ba? yung mga nakalagay sa ceilings? narecord kaya yun before the explosion? any news so far? LPG tank nga b? or bomba? |
 | thanks for sharing your pics tol! |
 | omg! you sure were lucky! thanks for the pix. |
 | From terrorism expert, journalist Maria Ressa on CNN/ANC: "The bomb that was used turned out to be two kilos of high-grade C4 explosives. Only two groups in the Philippines have the resources to possess this type of bomb and the expertise to use it: the Jemaaj Islamiya or JI terrorist group ... and the Philippine Military." |
 | its from the parking lot across glorietta 2. strange the roll-down doors are still closed? or maybe it was open but went down because of the blast. Notice that this store should not be visible outside--but you can see it now--maybe because the "windows" are gone. |
 | To xboy360: This is a tragic event. Instead of thinking political stuffs, let's just pray for the victims and the whole nation as well. If ever Gloria did this (as you insinuate), it will bring her more harm than good. Unit-unti nya nang napapaunlad ang bansa (GDP for 1st half of the year is 7.2% -highest in 20 years; stock exchange in record high; stronger pero, etc), masisira na naman... haay! |
 | and by the way, thanks disney for the pix. give thanks for u r 1 lucky guy. |

 | judex wrote on Oct 19, '07 thanks for the pictures... email Inquirer and send them your real name, para may credits ka naman, you will benefit from it in the future...
my opinion about the bombing? it's another tactic of GMA to divert the people and media about the "money" given to the governors and reps, and about the NBN/ZTE scandal.... whatchathink? pwede diba...
judex |
 | GMA is the president but she is not God...why blame her?d naman nya control lahat..in times like this unite, not blame people in the government. |
 | It's premature to think this is the work of the government, masyado ng nalalason ang isip natin sa mga politics, give sense naman sa mga nag blame sa government agad saka pray mo muna sana ung mga biktima. Nothing will happen to us if all the problem to our society will be blame to our government, bawat utot sa goverment tayo asa, we have to learn more from other countries, education and discipline to ourselves. Thanks disney for sharing your picture to us, we have to be united on this tragic event and pray for all the victim's family. |
 | I'm glad you and Mona are safe. My parents were doing their groceries at the Landmark an hour before the bombing. My mom wanted to eat lunch there but dad said on the way home na lang daw (to Tagaytay) - buti na lang. It is very tragic. Nice pictures though. |

 | "strange the roll-down doors are still closed?"
nice observation. It is strange. |
 | nagtaka pa kayo... politics is a very dirty game. pasensya (not sorry) sa mga biktima, at mabibiktima. it's quite successful that the media has diverted their attention now. iba na ang headlines. the next scenario will be the "special powers" of the chief executive as we all know re-phrased term lang for "martial law", then the charter change will follow. that's how the system works. LIVE with it, you like it or not. ibinoto nyo, magtiis kayo. |
 | it seems joel26 shows his stupidity by his message and PICTURE... |
 | astig ka bro!!! galeng ng mga photos mo!! is this a coincidence..whoa! |
 | Good thing you didn't change your mind in buying ice cream. I have the tendency to do that when I start feeling lazy. ^^;;; Don't forget to give thanks as you were spared from being one of the victims. Thanks for sharing these pictures. Even with the commotion this has caused, you still went on to take them. ^_^ |
 | Naalala ko last July (or August) 2007 kami nagpunta doon. Nakakalungkot! Sino kaya may kasalanan nito? |
 | This is sad already. I just knew this incident when I rushed to my parents' bedroom with my family yesterday. Hope it will not happen again. We must pray for them. =( |
 | Hi i-reporter. You should send your stuff to CNN!! I'm in the east coast and I was searching for photos. This one hit waaay too close to home. Kalungkot. bakit ba nangyayari ganitong bagay. so much hate. |

i am glad that you are safe and sound.
one cannot help but speculate. still, the most important thing is to ensure all the victims are safe, and the perpetrators are brought to justice. |

 | Nakita ko ito sa GMA7 last night and I was thinking, ang OA naman ng mga tao ngayon. Pinapalaki masyado na para bang merong mangyayaring gulo one of these days. | Sorry for this very long comment, but one thing for sure why these things are happening not only here in the Philippines but around the world, it's because it's written in the Bible. See also the whole book of Revelation. Those things will happen, anytime soon. Nobody knows the hour or the day, only God. So just hang on there guys, continue to pray!!! God bless.
Mark 13 Signs of the End of the Age
1As he was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!"
2"Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."
3As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, 4"Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"
5Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 6Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. 7When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9"You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14"When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation'[a]standing where it[b] does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15Let no one on the roof of his house go down or enter the house to take anything out. 16Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. 17How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 18Pray that this will not take place in winter, 19because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again. 20If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. 21At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ[c]!' or, 'Look, there he is!' do not believe it. 22For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. 23So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.
24"But in those days, following that distress, " 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'[d]
26"At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
28"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. 30I tell you the truth, this generation[e] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The Day and Hour Unknown
32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alert[f]! You do not know when that time will come. 34It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
35"Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' "

 | I witnessed this tragic incident as well yesterday. Just came from Ascott after conducting a training workshop there and was on my way back to our office. As we drove between Landmark and Glorietta and stopped right before the pedestrian lane while waiting for people to cross, after about 30 seconds, kaboom!!!... people running, shouting, saw several people with bloodied faces .. shattered glass and debris ...stunned and shocked...I was fortunate not to be in there...this is just so evil..just prayed for those people who were hurt to be healed and for those responsible for this, that God will deal His justice on them immediately!!! |
 | wala namang june 31 sa calendar eh.=) |

 | @joel26.. your train of thought shocks me.. what have you been watching or reading or the lack thereof.. anyway, i have noticed something.. why do people say "thank god" or "god is so good" after this tragedy, i mean this is a horrific event. we should not be saying thank god, for many people were injured or have lost their lives. we should just say, "i'm blessed" or "i'm lucky" or "i've cheated death or something", but saying "thank god" is plain tactless. |
 | Bat ganun yung front nang isang car? Nabagsakan lang ba yan, o binundol nung isa?Bakit parang na forward siya if palabas ang pagsabog? Tapos bakit yung gray parang umatras? CRV ba yan? kasi I saw a youtube video mentioning a CRV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tQmrNECqmE..Gaano ba kakapal ang wall ng Glorietta? Di kaya me sasakyan bumangga sa wall at nag trigger ng explosion?? |

 | We were supposed to go there the other day.. But thankfully our teacher had a concert in UP so we didn't go.
I think the ones to blame here is the one who did the tragedy and the one who's supposed to be attacked. Because the stupid things that the government does affects how the people in the country react. I mean the ones who probably did it lives here, and they have their reasons why they did it. I'm not saying I defend them, I don't give a crap about any of the sides. The ones who did it might hold some truth about the government and the government is just too afraid to admit their flaw, or something like that. If that's the cause of this chaos, that's a bunch of crap, that's pretty idiotic. They're risking innocent people that at anytime can be killed. Again I'm not defending anyone! Well, both have their reasons, its just a matter of who says something or whatever.
(thanks po for letting me comment) |
 | thank you for this pic. i will post this on my account.
im thankful that we didn't go to glorietta 2 for our lunch out last friday... |
 | omigod! sayang naman yung napakamahal na stainless owner type jeep! i hope it is insured. heheheh.seriously, whoever did this atrocity should rot in hell. |
 | just to defend my friend, he posted these photos for all of his friends to see, and to inform them of the bombing that has transpired, nothing more, nothing less. don't question that. These things are not for us to take advantage of but for us to ponder why these things are happening. |
 | men buti hindi ka nasabugan, grabe yan |
 | that's it! manila is not a safe city to be in right now. we are cancelling our trip to manila. |
 | it was very tragic. but whats sadder is the fact that most of the people are so quick to blame it on others, politics, most specially the government. this is the time of mourning, not pointing fingers. we shoudl be united, not divided. |
 | Dude, I just live nearby and that time I was parked in Park Square 2.......I just posted the pics so that my friends will see them and I didn't know it will spread to many...... first of all, thanks disneycute for sharing your pics with us. i know you could have just made these available for your contacts but really thanks. hey joel, easy ka lang. there are lots of reasons to be popular and i do not really think disneycute would want to be popular because of these pics. i think, for his graciousness of sharing the pics with us, instead of being negative, we should thank him. negative na nga ang nangyari. as for him posting his pics right away, there are really people like that. I am. I have lots of friends and i usually post my pics right away. i have a very fast internet connection and maybe disneycute has a fast one too. besides, there is no harm for disneycute to post these pics. in fact it would really help in solving the case. peace joel... the world would be a better place if you brighten up a bit. life is always good if you want it to be. stay on the bright side of life. I HOPE UR NOT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE INCIDENT TO EARN PUBLICITY, REMEMBER THAT IF UR A POPULAR PERSON, ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL BRING U DOWN ---- are you one of them joel?... just a thought. peace........ |

 | It's sad...while people are praying for PEACE, more intensely this month of October, you are sowing discontent among Pilipinos. I am a Pilipino and the Philippines is also my country. Whatever is your political agenda keep it among your group; don't drag us into the pit where you are in and don't use the Glorieta bombing incident as your Plaza Miranda. If you're so dead-set with your cause, bath in gasoline and click a lighter; surely you'll get better coverage. You might end up a hero to some... a dead hero. May God Bless you!. And God Bless the Philippines!!! |
 | Pardon me kababayans, the tragic event may or may not involve terrorism, frankly speaking it's everywhere, our world is not safe anymore. What internet can provide for us is invaluable info of where to and where not to go, good thing we are posted with what's happening in the Philippines but please don't make it an excuse not to visit our beloved Country. It may happen anywhere anytime but it will definitely not happen in the same location anytime soon. Have Faith mga kababayan, peace! |

Grabe ang lungkot...to think I've been in that area so many times...dun sa ice cream incident pala, I think God had a hand in it. Sometimes it's the littlest things that matter. Like at the last minute naisipan mo mag-ice cream diba? Just think na kung hindi...wow.

 | ano kaya kung may mga closed circuit tv sa mga public areas sa MetroManila, parang sa UK? then train those who are looking at the monitors of cctv what to look for, for possible terrorists . If the Ayala properties will have cctv, this may provide a layer of assurance sa mga shoppers, na at least, there is someone looking up there (cctv) if they shop in stores within the Ayala properties. |

 | thanx disney for sharing your pix.. i was at Alabang Town Center during that time when i felt kinda strange because the mall got super strict and as if a lot of people inside are scared. i asked from the lady at burger king what happened and she told me a short story of the incident.
just this morning, our supervisor sent us this message.
"Guys, i'd like to share this intelligence report from a friend whose brother is a police officer: Refrain from going to global city market2 and makro bicutan. All Ayala corps subject to bombings. A bomb was also discovered in Ocean Liners. Let us all be cautious and vigilant."
Be careful people. |
 | I like that, spy camera? Hehe parang yung movie ni jim carey, his whole life's on tv. Hehe this way, it's also easy to find new artistas in town, hehe just joking. Anyways, thats nice, though its pretty much expensive i think, but a lot safer. grabe nanyari dun, and then it was followed by a burning restaurant yesterday, sunday morning. sa may seafood resto ata yun eh. Anyways, let us all be safe and hope that there this crisis will not anymore come to an extension. let us have faith, be safe everyone. |
 | seeing this pic..makes me wonder..is there just a single explosion??..sa tingin ku dalawang simultaneous yung pagsabog..kasi upper and lower floors had bomd impacts??..edi ba yung glorietta has thick brick walls??...not that brittle para masira agad??..well yun nga..maybe there are two or more exposives na sumabog on two or more different spots??..just my opinion..SWERTE MO PARE..SALAMAT SA SORBETES..HEHE |

They did it foremost instead of question the guy's motive. But yes, I know the purpose of this post was just to share, nothing more. SOMEBODY OR SOMEHOW A LEADER WITH A GOOD MORAL VIRTUE WHOSE GONNA REPLACE GLORIA MAY SOON COME OUT IN THE OPEN, SOMEONE MORE CREDIBLE AND HONEST DOES NOT TOLERATE GRAFT AND CORRUPT PRACTICES |

 | OK LOOKS LIKE NASA DISNEY LAND BA ANG FEELING MO DAHIL NAGPOST KA NG FIRST HAND PHOTOS NG GLORIETTA BLAST, THE INVESTIGATION TOLD THAT IT WAS A GAS EXPLOSION, SO YUNG MGA NAG SPECULATE NG TERROR ACT DAW, EH SHUT UP AND BACK OFF!!!! KUNG AKO SA INYO MAG RALLY KAYO AT MANAWAGAN NG GLORIA RESIGN PARA GUMANDA SITWASYON NG PINAS, KAKAHIYA LALO NA MAY PRESIDENTE TAYO NA MAGULO ANG ISIP AT KAPIT TUKO SA PWESTO |
 | EWAN KO, BAKIT MADAMI NAG REACT DITO, COPYCAT LANG NAMAN SI DUDE. KAHIT AKO PWEDE MAGPOST NG GLORIETTA KAHIT OAKWOOD MUTINY PWEDE KO SEARCH SA NET AT POST KO AT SABIHIN KO THAT I WAS THERE IN THAT AREA WHEN IT HAPPENED, AS SIMPLE AS THAT, DON'T BE EASILY BELIEVE, HOWEVER LET'S RESPECT DUDE IT IS HIS RIGHT OF EXPRESSION, IM NOT BEING ADVERSARIAL AT ALL HERE, IM NOT POINTING THAT THIS GUY IS BAD, BUT WHAT HAPPENED IN GLORIETTA 2 IS NOT A TERROR ACT, IF IT'S DONE BY TERRORIST IT SHOULD BE FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER INCIDENT ON ANOTHER PLACE AT THE SAME TIME, AND IT'S ONLY DONE A MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE MALL'S VICINITY. DI BA NAGBUKAS PA RIN AFTER THE BOMBING, YUNG GLORIETTA 1. 3 AND 4 IS STILL OPEN, SO THAT MEANS THIS IS ONLY A PART OF A GIMMICK OF THOSE IN POWER |
 | OK SO GLORIETTA IS NOW CONSIDERED A GHOST TOWN AND NO MORE A POPULAR MALL, BESIDES THERE'S SM MALL OF ASIA AND SM NORTH, MEDYO DI KA MATRAPIK DUN, GAGO KASI SI GLORIA AT YUNG MGA GABINETE NYA, SIRA ANG TUKTOK. SARI SARI ANG GIMIK WAG LANG MASABIHAN NA CORRUPT ANG GOBYERNO |

 | I don't believed that the glorieta blast was merely an accident.According to the PNP theory, explosive gases generated by decomposition of sewage's were responsible for explosion.Since the cellar lacking ventilation(no oxygen),how come there was COMBUSTION?.Also, the explosion originated inside the diesel tank.If the diesel was said to be decomposing due to overheated environment, these fuel gas would further displaced trapped oxygen inside the tank preventing proper mixture of combustible gas.Even with the presence of spark,it'll fizzle only.In worst case, diesel slowly burns and do not explode. Also shown in the picture, there was no obvious damages of fire prior the explosion. You have to raise pressure to 500 bar to create an explosion with super rich amount of oxygen as this is how diesel engine works. Also, its impossible to build up pressure in the tank because there was 2 breather tubes on top of the tank and acts as pressure relief. It is unsuitable to produce violent explosion on such stagnant atmosphere of the cellar. I dare the investigator if they can reproduce in their laboratory such enormous destruction without an aid of oxidizer based on sewer/diesel combination in the same environment. One theory, most probably the TERRORIST has improvised, might be mixing the diesel tank with hydrogen peroxide(aqua oxinada),or any untraceable similar oxidizing substance(more information can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide).It can be easily concealed in a container and thats why liquid containers are banned in entry of airport premises. This substance gives off oxygen when heated. Its byproduct is water and this can give puzzling conclusion to forensic investigator to the cause of explosion due untraceable residues.Obviously in the picture of the diesel tank shown by PNP presentation ,was a big puncture and this means powerful jet-stream(shape-charge) due to concentrated rapid combustion originated inside the tank. Also, method of introduction to the system is easy. You don't have to be in the cellar to put it inside the tank.Since most refilling ports are located to remote location accessible by fuel delivery trucks,I suspect, anyone who has destructive motive can bypass security checkpoint.Pls see experimental strike of Al-qaeda in Cebu mall philippines at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bojinka_Plot . This things came to my mind as I worked in industrial company which handle combustible liquid located to similar construction of the cellar in the pictures of glorietta and I never experience this kind of explosion in my career. Also as of now,the current investigation remains a mystery and I suspect, there might also be a complete cover-up of explosive evidence so that they can pass it off as an accident in order to cover an insurance claim.Accident Insurance doesn't cover claims due to sabotage or act of war. joey |
